OutreachSheet
Multilingual outreach guide

Multilingual email outreach from one Google Sheet.

Give each contact a country. The sheet sends each person the sequence for that country's language, or your default if blank. You write each version; it does not translate.

Write the offer once, then adapt it

Start with the offer and the action you want the reader to take. Prepare a sequence for each language you plan to use. Keep the meaning consistent, but check local phrasing, place names and how you introduce yourself. OutreachSheet comes with English and French sample sequences; it does not generate translations.

Check the mapping against your actual contacts

The starting mapping covers 29 countries and is editable. Some markets, including the Nordics and Ireland, are deliberately mapped to English. A country is a useful starting rule, but it cannot tell you every individual’s preferred language. Review the mapping for your list before sending.

Prepare the contact columns and personalisation fields, then use the setup walkthrough to check a test message.

Keep the follow-up in the same language

Prepare every step you intend to send in each chosen language. Preview examples from each market, including contacts with missing fields. English is the fallback where you have not written a version. Test those fallback cases deliberately so the first email and follow-ups say what you intend.

The Gmail follow-up guide explains the delays between sequence steps and how to leave room for them in your daily limit.

Handle the replies as well as the send

The Replies tab separates conversations, opt-outs, automatic replies and delivery problems. Opt-outs are recognised in 16 languages, including Chinese, Japanese and Korean, and the permanent Do Not Contact list is checked again before sending. Review replies yourself, particularly when local wording needs judgement.

Only sending in English?

Use one English sequence. Personalisation, scheduled follow-ups, reply sorting and the evening report work without running an international campaign. Language routing is an additional option when your list needs it.
